New PC and Laptop Installation
OK. You've spent the day in PC World and the sales assistant has done an excellent job. You've come home with a new PC or Laptop, a wireless network router, a printer, a scanner, an external disk drive and various other great looking pieces of equipment. What do you do now?
Don't panic, and DON'T pay PC World £140+ to come out and set it all up for you. That's a rip off.
Two options:
- Why not try it yourself?
Everything these days is plug and play and most devices recognise each other. Plug your PC / Laptop into the mains, turn it on and let it boot up. Once booted, plug each device into the machine in turn. The majority of devices will be recognised and become useable automatically. The only difficulties you should have will be with installing and configuring a wireless network (this is less than intuitive) and perhaps a printer (though if you follow the 'quick installation' guide you can't go too far wrong.
If you have any specific problems then give us a call and we'll finish the job for you.
- Just give US a call.
If you're really not happy having a go yourself then give us a call. We'll have your system all up and running in no time at a fraction of the price of PC World.
